The Role

Technically highly skilled, a Frontend Technical Architect (FTA) can translate functional requirements into class leading software solutions. Involvement in wider cross-team, departmental level technological discussions and strategy implementation is necessary in order to facilitate the sharing of knowledge. 

 

An FTA must have the ability to provide high level designs, quality requirements and guidance backed by good design principles. They should have excellent communication skills to convey high level concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

 

As an FTA you must have exceptional attention to detail, a background in Front End development, an understanding of VueJS and an awareness of latest technologies. You should understand best practices and developments and can think at a high-level about architecture and strategy.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the architectural design, programming, testing, aws services and deployment of enterprise solutions relating to Frontend projects
  • Training and supporting other engineers within the team where necessary
  • Providing technical support to Business Analysts, Project Managers, and other Developers
  • Creating enterprise software documentation and providing ticket support
  • Testing segments of project code to ensure quality and checking for errors
  • Working closely with clients and internal business stakeholders to create bespoke solutions outside of our core products
  • Recommending appropriate tools, technologies, and processes for the development of scalable and software solutions
  • Working with established production processes to maintain consistent standards and innovate where possible
  • Establishing coding standards, guidelines, and project practices
  • Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all IT business information
