The Role

  • Strong understanding of the Automotive landscape and retailer landscape
  • Achieve a “Trusted Advisor” role based on the Automotive Transformation Group digital infrastructure that is delivered through our digital retailing suite.
  • Develop accounts through industry trends and knowledge, by working closely with a multi-faceted team within the retailer
  • Implement and educate on a digital retailing strategy by introducing deploying the products and services to customers.
  • Provide a deep level understanding of data that is relevant to the client and present actionable activities from its findings
  • Collaborate and lead with the overall strategy with the retailer and deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly review meetings based on agreed  KPI’s with the retailer. 
  • Accurate management of CRM records for all customers including detailed notes on the customer relationship, contact points, contract renewals, products and monthly opportunity and invoicing
  • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reporting and insight

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Pro-actively engage with your assigned portfolio of customers to ensure they’re informed on the latest product releases, software updates and marketing initiatives.
  • Grow monthly revenue through developing and initiating a digital retailing strategy, by introducing additional products and services to customers.
  • Analyse customer data to make informed recommendations and suggestions to your customers.
  • Develop a key understanding of the client objectives and collaborating on a strategy with our services.
  • Confidently present ATG, our products and services in an articulate manner.
  • Develop excellent customer relationships at all levels both internally and externally that galvanize ongoing business opportunities.

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in sales/account management, held within the automotive industry or a digitally focused role
  • An understanding of Software as a Service (SAAS) based products and the benefits of solution-based products
  • An understanding of DMS and Showrooms systems an advantage
  • A passion to help clients improve
  • A willingness to learn and develop within the Retail Sales Team.
  • A hardworking and determined work ethic with ambition and integrity
  • Excellent telephone, video and written communication skills
  • Ability to successfully and productively resolve problems in order to meet targets and expectations
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data constructively to improve the performance of client’s digital strategy
  • Ability to drive the conception and development of innovative, engaging, on-brief digital ideas for clients
