The Role

We are looking for a new Conversion Rate Optimisation Analyst that has a passion for data-driven software optimization. You will work to increase conversion rates and improve user experiences, playing a significant role within an expanding team shaping, developing and implementing a long-term CRO strategy and roadmap.

 

This role would suit an analytical and creative thinker with experience using AB/MVT testing tools and a solid understanding of UX with the ability to identify trends and create hypotheses and testing plans.

 

The successful candidate will need to be a strong communicator with an inquisitive nature to test ideas and discover learnings in-turn making meaningful decisions based on data, you’ll have a keen eye for spotting areas for improvement using detailed analysis, intuition and team collaboration.


 

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate optimisation campaigns from ideation through to completion following a scientific approach and methodology, this will include prioritisation, creating hypotheses, configuring and implementing A/B and MVT tests, communicating their results and next steps.
  • Proactively dive into qualitative and quantitative data on campaign performance using analytics tools to look for key takeaways and solutions to optimise our software and clients sites or to use for as insights for further iterations of tests.
  • Contribution to the development of a CRO strategy and roadmap helping to deliver increased revenue, conversion rates and enhanced user experience.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on the progress of relevant tests as well as sharing results with the wider business upon completion.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider CRO team including Data Analysts, Developers and Designers to develop, launch and measure new tests based on reporting and analysis.
  • Ensuring detailed test information and results are updated accordingly within tracking sheets and tools and updating JIRA tickets ensuring campaign status is visible and correct.
  • Quality assuring test configurations in conjunction with Lead CRO Analyst.
  • Ensuring all tests follow best practices.
  • Conducting competitor analysis and research.
  • Conducting presentations with Stakeholders providing updates on the program and on highest performing tests where necessary.
  • Liaising with wider parts of the business responding to optimisation and product enhancement ideas. Sharing within team and prioritising these accordingly, providing advice or considerations where necessary.
  • Remain abreast of developments in Analytics, CRO and in digital transformation.

Required Experience:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in CRO tools such as VWO, Optimizely, Maxymiser or similar
  • Experience with User insight and research methods, such tools as Content Square, Hot Jar, Crazy Egg (desirable)
  • Experience in JIRA, Atlassian (desirable)
  • Coding in HTML, CSS or JavaScript (desirable)
  • Experience with Tableau or SQL (desirable)
