The Role

We are currently looking for a Technical Delivery Lead who will be responsible for leading the technical delivery of internal and client projects being carried out within the Technical Services Team. This will involve working with the relevant Product Owners and other stakeholders to understand the overall goals and aims of BAU or implementation projects and managing and coordinating the technical delivery of these.


Day-to-day activities may involve, but is not limited to, pre-sales support, requirements discovery and specification, oversight/management of bespoke application development, high level architecture design/discussions, integration work and cyber security.


This will suit someone with a technical background and who has gained experience in the following areas; pre-sales, requirements gathering, integration, software development, support, with some Business Analysis or Project Management experience you will not manage a team but will manage resource to support product development and delivery. This is NOT a hands on development role


Key Responsibilities:


  • Managing the technical delivery across Projects and initiatives within the Technical Services Team
  • Liaising with the Service Teams, Delivery & Operations Teams accordingly (i.e. Solution Architects, Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Service Desk, etc.) to ensure delivery plans are appropriate.
  • Working with Suppliers/Clients to progress any technical deliverables/changes and make sure roadmaps are communicated the teams involved
  • Taking ownership for reviewing, triaging, and resolving any issues that are escalated from the Support and Client Services Teams
  • Supporting platform upgrades and other maintenance activities, whilst ensuring good change and configuration management is followed
  • Liaising with Account Managers and other Business Stakeholders to understand their goals
  • Helping to define and promote good practice with regards to technical delivery
  • Ensuring solutions are delivered with Information Security and risk in mind


Key Skills & Technologies:


  • SDLC
  • APIs (predominantly REST but any exposure to SOAP is beneficial)
  • Requirements gathering and technical documentation
  • AWS/Cloud experience including but not limited to PaaS and SaaS architecture models
  • Agile methodologies
